Traits Requirement/Gaps

This section shows the RBI's geographic coverage reflected as market segments in different countries based on existing characteristics of rice varieties being cultivated and production practices employed by farmers in rice-based ecosystems. In each country, stakeholders such as national agricultural research and extension systems (NARES) and seed system actors from public and private entities are identified. The collaboration areas between the RBI and each stakeholder, which proves to be mutually beneficial to both partners, are also presented in this section.
